Hello,Please help! I am unable to use my phone after doing something that maybe I shouldn't have done!!First let me go through some steps that led to the phone becoming unusable.1) First I successfully rooted the phone (using instructions off the net)2) I tested the rooting by clicking on the SuperSU App and granting the necessary permissions.3) Next I downloaded the Titanium Backup and successfully backed up my phone4) Then I decided to go back into the SuperSU (just to see what kind of things I could do with the superuserApp). And a POP-UP Window appeared.

Now I really can't remember the exact message but it basically was asking me if I wanted to perform some sort of conversion. Without giving it too much thought and like an idiot I just clicked on YES. The phone then rebooted and remained STUCK on the screen where the 'Samsung Galaxy SII GT-I9100' message flashes up with a yellow triangle exclamation mark below (please see attached pic). Hello All,I've been reading posts from here for a long time but this is my first post.I'm coming here as a last resort to save my Galaxy s2 (SGH-T989) which has a stock ROM.Here's what happened.I dropped my phone and then it got stuck in bootloop (it only boots until I see the 'SAMSUNG' word animation and stops there).At that point, ODIN 'sees' that there's a connected device; KIES keeps 'connecting.' But can't actually connect; ADB does not show any connected device.So, what I wanted to do was to factory 'reset' the phone. The problem is I can't get the phone into Recovery mode.

I believe it's because my volume down button was acting up when the phone was working. However, I can get to 'Download Mode' using a USB Jig.So, the next thing to do is to flash a new stock ROM.

However, whenever I connect my phone when it's in 'Download Mode', ODIN does not see it.Yes, I've installed, re-installed, removed, re-installed all drivers and Kies and I've done that so many times you can't even believe it.The problem is that the device driver 'SAMSUNG Mobile USB CDC Composite Device' gives the following error 'This device cannot start. (Code 10)', and I don't know why or how I can get rid of that. As mentioned above, I've tried all the device driver installation fixes but none has worked.I mean, when the phone is not in Download Mode and I connect it to my PC, all device drivers are working fine with no error, but when it's in Download Mode, I get the error mentioned above 'This Device cannot start.' .So, my questions:1) Is there a way to get to Recovery Mode without using the button combinations? (The phone is in bootloop)2) How can I fix the device driver error mentioned above to get ODIN to see my device?3) Is there anything else I need to be doing?This problem is really frustrating and I've been on it for more than 2 weeks and nothing has worked so far. Any help is greatly appreciated. I current flashed my galaxy SII to neatrom 4.1.2 6.4 version.Everything is fine, and the speed is very satisfying.But the mobile data seems to work partly.

Wi-Fi works perfectly.I can use google search bar to search, but I can not further the results and linkI can use line messenger to send messages to my friends, but I can not access to google play or use the browsers?I did 3 wipes before flashing the rom.Just wanna know if it's the DNS problem or modem problem that I need to reflash the rom?Could anybody help me, thanks!! Hi all, my eldest kid's having a problem with the wifi on his S2 i9100 - the wifi used to work fine but has developed a fault.The phone needs to be very close to a wifi beacon, ie within about 3 metres! So he needs to sit beside the modem to use it.

I've searched but not found any solutions other than fitting a new motherboard, for now I've set up an old modem in his room as a network hub and wifi beacon, but any hints would be appreciated.The phone is stock kernel, I had to fit a new screen some time ago but I've stripped it back down and double checked ariel connections.Apparantly it was giving problems before the new screen was fitted - during the warranty period - but he didn't bother to tell me then!! I was using cynogenmod 11 on my S2 which was working perfectly. But i don;t what happened that day. After full battery drain. My phone stuck on samsung logo. I thought to reinstall rom but on every try it says can not read file.

Tried installing from internal memory and external memory also. Tried different versions and other roms also. But no result. So i thought to boot to stock rom. So i took it to odin mode and tried installing default rom.

But it always stuck on factorysys nothing happened. But after that i phone got formated now i was not able to install any toher rom from my card or internal. And stuck on same factorysys from odin or screen shoeing software installation interrupted install recovery from kies. Kies not reading it and odin is not moving further.

So now my phone has nothing to look forward.I took it to samsung service center. They told me its not possible to make it better again. Plz huys i need ur help.

Hi,I just installed the new rom by MIUI.works fine as usual.then i tried to increase the internal storage for Apps by installing some PIT file which i found here.and now when i turn on my phone i get this message 'sd card blank or has unsupported'.the PC won't recognize the phone neither.i added an external SD.and now in the Setting-Storage i see the external SD.and another 2GB of internal storage, and that's it.how can i fix this problem? This is my first post on xda.My phone is soft bricked. When I start my device, it gets stuck at the 'Samsung S II GT-I9100' logo. Hi All,I'm really hoping you guys can help me out here please. I 'suspect' this is not even the correct forum, but as a junior, the forum won't let me post to the Omega thread.I flashed to Omega 24 some 4 months ago and have since been unable to locate a fix for this issue. I did originally search XDA and did find one post that seemed to relate to my problem, but that was a while ago now and searching now for 'omega caldav' (caldav-sync and variations) doesn't seem to bring anything up, so I can't locate it again.I also contacted the developer who basically said it would be the firmware's issue, so I'm hoping you folks can give me some love please.LogCat error logs here below. Also I have a custom rom + custom kernel installed (it's called ressurection remix)So is there a chance to connect my device?EDIT: now, after a few times of trying sometimes the devices connects correctly (Windows says it's an GT9100 and also Kies tries to connect) but I can't access it 'cause I cannot type in my PIN. Also adb now says I have an unauthorized device connected. So if I can change the last point with adb I think I'll gain access to my data.EDIT2: I've figured out that I can boot into CWM and now adb says the device is connected as recovery. So I can use pull/push commands but the problem is that i cannot see all files.
